Today we observed our terrariums with the darling beetles and plants. I found out our teacher, Mr. Reed was right by putting saran wrap on top of our terrariums to have the water cycle could run with the same water over and over, and just like we started the soil was moist and the sides were wet.
Things have changed in the terrariums like the plants they have grown allot and our apple pieces have been cut in half. Things have changed, but some have stayed the same like the beetles, nothings happened to them and our two carrots have stayed there and have not been touched.
Our terrariums have been by the windowsill so the placing has been changed depending on how fast you hand it in. The changing causes different effects like the amount of sunlight and the temperature. sense the places have been changing so have the plants and animals. The plants don't grow in the dark, but the animals come out and the animals stay underground in sunlight, the plants grow like crazy.
Our seeds spouted and the clovers came in first, some unlucky like the barley came in last. the seeds took about the same water and depth in the soil. they were also spread out very well, but I wished I would have had a bigger place to plant so more of our plants would have grown.
The terrariums went well and I hope we get to do more experiments with them.

Eewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I'm am so not touching that "thing", was my first thought when I herd the words "owl pellet" come out of Mr. Reed's mouth. but when I first started to pull it apart my feelings made a bit of a change, I was so joy full I forgot I was pulling apart something that came out of a owls mouth with animal bones inside. As me and Karlee, my friend were digging through the ball we found a shrew body we were so excited that we started to build the shew back together.
"I'm drinking tea, in Pari, with a little flee" I said as took my neon pink string and made the mosquito with it. Mr. Reed, "the string man" gave all the fifth graders a string and taught every one a neat little trick to with it. I learned the blinking eye and I showed that to my friend Allison, and then she taught me how to do the mosquito, soon I stared to make up a story, and that's what I was doing a couple minutes ago. What I do for my story is To make the cup and saucer, then to make the Eiffel tower, next I make the mosquito, and then I'm done.
I loved camp and I learned allot about everything.

Wow! He seems excited, I know I would if a Foss plane I made flipped upside down while flying. We were making Foss planes during science and seeing how they fly when the rubber band that's connected is let go from being twisted.

I didn't know I could build a plane out of two straws,a propeller, a rubber band, two Popsicle sticks, and a hook that goes on the back. What we did is we sanded down the Popsicle sticks in till they fit i n the propeller hook.Then we took our super jumbo straw and cut it in half, and hole punched the tops of both half's, then put the jumbo straw through the holes and stapled that between the Popsicle sticks, with the bridge in the air. then stuck the front end in the hook of the propeller with the propeller on the bottom, with the other hook we put it on the other end then put the rubber band on the ends of the hooks. Then we took the plane and put fishing line through the jumbo straw and hooked the line on to two chairs, twisted the propeller. We were ready for flight.

We had to find out how many winds it took to get the plane from one chair to the other. it took twenty seven winds for my plane. after we found that out our teacher announced that we had to find out how many winds ti took to get to the half line, you would think it was thirteen and a half WRONG!!!!!!!! it actually was more, I was surprised.

I learned that it took more winds to get to the half then what I suspected why because it takes a couple winds to get the plane moving. I had a great time with this experiment.

Oh, my, gosh, I can't wait till February 24, 09 after school. Why can't I wait? Because we are getting a new whiteboard, but this whiteboard is not ordinary, it has a projector built in. My teacher is supper happy, because now he doesn't have to write on the paper, he gets to write on the white board. But is that all it can do? No. Instead of using markers you use the "Tools". What are the "Tools"? Well there is a bar at the bottom of the whiteboard, what you can do is choose one and you can draw what ever you want. I think that's pretty cool, don't you? And I also I think that is something to get excited about.

In science we are working on a tech project called choose your own adventure story's CYOAS's for short. In my story my friend, Allison has a dog named Lucy and she runs away. Me an Allison set out to find her and we end up at a cave. In the CYOAS's we use hyperlinks. If you choose the wrong hyperlink in your story bad things can happen. In mine CYOAS if you choose the wrong the choice you die I die three times. I hope I can make another CYOAS soon!
